Workshops & Classes
1) Photography Classes
Very Effective for Beginners, Stanwycks Photography offers Photography Classes. Our classes cover basic photography and more advanced levels. Our classes cover the basics;
- Camera Functions and settings
- Lenses
- Light and Exposure
- Editing
We address the things that are giving you questions and pause in your photography.
There are Basic classes to more intermediate depending on where you are in your process. for Beginners classes are generally 2 classes and if you want a 3rd for getting more familiar with the computer and editing.
2) Photography Workshops
Stanwycks Photography offers Photography Workshops Our Workshops are 4 to 6 hours in the studio and or on-location depending on what you want to do. We offer 1 and 2 day workshops. Each day we start at 10 or 11 with a break for lunch - and resume again. Beginners workshops we generally work in the classroom for 2 to 3 hours and then go and shoot together. You will have a professional over your shoulder helping you with your cameras settings, composition and exposure.
3) Photography Coaching
Stanwycks Photo offers Photography Coaching with Vicki Stanwycks. within the Coaching Experience we have several segments that give:
- Classroom time for photography studies including basic to intermediate
- Shooting at local locations - with a professional Photographer over your shoulder to help you understand your settings, exposure and composition
- Pre and Post Production time to help with Editing on the computer
- Zoom calls if you have questions and need help between sessions.
It's a pretty comprehensive way of learning photography and continuing your photographic growth and process.
4) Photography Bootcamp
Stanwycks Photography offers Photography Bootcamp. It's photography on Steroids! It's comprehensive for understanding your camera, shooting and getting images quicker and it is 3 days of Classroom, Shooting and Editing. A 4th day at a different time that sums it all up including a test for your benefit to see what you have absorbed.
- Classroom time for photography studies including the basics to intermediate
- Shooting at local locations - with a professional Photographer over your shoulder all the time, to help you understand your settings, exposure and composition...
- Pre and Post Production time to help with your Editing on the computer
- Software Recommendations, Demonstrations and your hands on with a computer.
- 2 Follow Up Zoom Calls after the Bootcamps Completion.
- Discounts towards further Coaching
The Photo Skillz Bootcamp brings you to the next level quickly and can be intense, but worth it in the long run if you want to advance quicker.

"Our Mobile Studio on Gause Blvd Slidell, or on The Gulf Coast in Waveland... Gulfport, Biloxi, Bay St. Louis... we have your assignment covered. We go on-location most of the time. We can set up a studio anywhere if that's what the assignment requires."
We give our Classes, Workshops and Coaching in Bay St. Louis During the week, every week. Once a month we give workshops in Slidell for up to 4 or 5 people.
